VIBRATING SILO DISCHARGE SYSTEMS

Low frequency fluidization

  • The system has been developed for effective loosening of the material in the silo.
  • Without any mechanical damage to the silo, the material in the silo loosens and becomes fluid.
User Engineering
  • But how does the material become loose and fluid ?

Sound with low frequency and large wavelength..
Vibration.
AIR that penetrates into the silo by being pulsed.

User Engineering

WORKING PRINCIPLE

  • A pneumatically operated PULSATOR pressurizes the air it takes in. Thus, it creates rapid pressure pulses.
  • The pulses (vibrations) that occur have low frequency and large wavelength.
  • Meanwhile, an ultrasonic sound is generated.
  • Conditioned air exiting the pulsator passes through the activator probe. Thus, the activator probes in the material have a mechanical effect on the material.
User Engineering
  • At this stage, there are 3 factors affecting the material.
  • First one; The sound waves created by the pulsator activate the molecules of the material and convert the potential energy into kinetic energy.
  • Latter; The vibrating air coming out of the activator probe in a pressurized and pulsed way is finely and easily dispersed inside the powder material. Thus, the molecules can easily move between themselves.
  • Thirdly; The vibration of the activator itself also directly affects the material.

THIS COMBINATION RESULTS IN EFFICIENT EMPTYING.

WHY DO WE CREATE A PULSE WITH AIR İNSTEAD OF GIVING AIR DIRECTLY ?

  • WHAT IS VIBRATION ?
  • The oscillation movement of a system in its equilibrium position is called vibration.

  • WHAT IS THE PERIOD ?
  • It is the time interval in which the movement repeats itself. (T)

  • WHAT IS THE FREQUENCY?
  • It is the number of oscillations per unit time. The unit of frequency expressed in oscillations / second is known as Hertz (Hz).

  • Our aim in creating pulses is to create a working frequency.
  • If we were to give air directly, we could only affect one area and we could not allow all the molecules in the material to affect each other.
  • In this case, a certain area of the material would expand. Since the volume is constant, the resulting expansion would cause compression in another area.
  • Regular oscillation movements with low frequency formation provide energy flow in the molecules of the material regularly.
  • Its high amplitude and large wavelengths allow available energy to be transferred to the furthest distance between molecules.
User Engineering

THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF VIBRATION

  • Earthquakes are the best example of the power to eliminate vibrations. Vibration waves formed hundreds of kilometers below the ground can destroy most of the things above ground.
  • The low frequency caused by the vibration and sound in the silos provides a wide range of action with a large wavelength.
User Engineering

FLEXIBILITY

  • Panellerin ebatları ve şekilleri
  • The dimensions and shapes of the panels can be flexibly adapted to the design of the silo and the properties of the material.

  • The ideal solution is planned and projected for different conditions.
  • The system is very easy to install.
  • The system works easily on straight or curved edges of concrete and metal silos.

INSTALLATION EXAMPLES

  • Below is a flour silo with a drain screw placed horizontally on its base. Double panel activator operates on the four outlets of the flour silo. In each phase of operation, one of the activators runs for 0.15 seconds, following the other. Has 6 seconds of stop time. Thus, the total air consumption decreases to 50 lt / sec.
User Engineering
  • This system can also be used in flat bottom silos with low inclination and without inclination, such as large concrete silos. Installation of the activator part depends on the application.
User Engineering
  • Sometimes it may be advantageous to use 3 to 4 activator probes when only one pulsator is operating, especially in small containers with difficult substances.
User Engineering
  • In larger silos, an arch may occur at the corner between the vertical wall and the exit hopper.
  • This problem can be solved by means of a separate activator placed on the upper edge of the conical part as seen in the picture.
User Engineering
  • The Pulsator spear structure has been developed for effective loosening of materials in the warehouse and container.
  • Due to its portable structure, it can be moved to the desired application area.
  • Wing activator hose structure is made of nylon durable fabric suitable for harsh working conditions.
  • This hose structure can be easily removed for cleaning. It can be fixed with a simple clamp.
  • Pulsator Spear works almost silently.
  • It is very light and practical. (6-8 kg)
  • It has few moving parts. Therefore it requires little maintenance.
  • It works absolutely SAFE.

TİTREŞİMLİ SİLO BOŞALTMA SİSTEMİ

USER PULSE

loosens. In any type of silo, bridging etc. problems are eliminated. Actuators work by creating rapid and compressed air pulses with the help of a pneumatic pulsator. While one activator is sufficient for small sized silos, two or more panel activator probes are used to effect a larger surface in large silos. Thus, the blow blown air may form a more slippery, thin and wide form on the surface of the panel activator. The vibrating air can be dispersed between every particle. Thus, the particles can move freely. This combination provides efficient material discharge. The system is highly flexible. The size, shape and positioning of the panel activators can be designed according to different silo types. In addition, these silo discharge systems do not cause any mechanical deformation on the walls of the silo. Activation of User Pulse can be easily controlled automatically by a solenoid valve. It can also be controlled manually when desired.

With a spear type activator head, User Pulse can be used for evacuation in truck containers and other mobile problem areas.

USER PULSE

Equipment for Discharge and Powder Techniques

USER PULSE is used in many facilities around the world to increase the efficiency of silos and warehouses. The USER PULSE discharge system has been developed for effective loosening of the material in the silo.

Some benefits of USER PULSE cleaning in this area;

  • Improving the discharge process
  • Speed up cleaning
  • Eliminating the need for manual cleaning

Detail

Operation of the actuator probe; compressed air from the pneumatic pulsator pushes the steel mesh activator probe placed in the silo in a fast and vibrating manner. The activated panel pulsator pushes the pulsed air into the powder material in the most effective way and and distributes it.

Unlike competitor technologies, the air shocks provide pressurized and vibrating air intake from more points instead of a single point. Thus, the material in the silo is disrupted the bond structure from many points. It loosens and becomes fluid with the effect of vibration.

Another advantage of this style is that it is easy to set up. The system works efficiently in concrete or metal silos. It is possible to use on straight and curved edges.

User Pulse is used to overcome clogging, accumulation and agglomeration problems in silos and warehouses. User Pulse makes various particles such as flour and ash fluid efficiently. Advantages; increasing product flow, eliminating structural damage caused by vibrators.

User Engineering

It is the material that needs to shake, not the silo.

FLUIDIZATION

The ideal technique is to effectively loosen the material for movement. This is called fluidization. The fluidized material flows out of the silo easily. This facilitates the transport work that goes on behind the system.

The method commonly used to fluidized the material in the silo; sending a thin stream of air inside to separate the particles. However, this method is not always successful. Air often acts as a central channel. Thus, the discharge process is interrupted.

Vibratory fluidization is a more advanced form of this process. We pressurized the air sent to the silo and strengthened it with vibration. This allow us to loosen the material efficiently. We can make sure that the vibrating is the material, not the silo.

RESULT: Fast and effective discharge

The panel activator spreads its vibration air into the material.

User Engineering

Low frequency fluidization

This unloading system has been developed for effective loosening of the material in the silo. The actuator probe works by pushing the compressed air from a full pneumatic pulsator. The panel pulsator sprays the vibrating air into the powder material. Thus, it distributes it effectively.

The sprayed air is distributed finely. Thus, it creates a slippery surface on the air activator surface. Vibration in the air allows particles to flow easily. This combination results in an effective discharge. Panel dimensions, shape and position can be flexibly designed according to the silo. The system is very flexible. As a result; The most ideal solution can be planned according to the data. In addition, the system is very easy to install. The system can work efficiently in concrete and metal silos.

Nowadays, there are many different systems to use for emptying silos. But these cause different problems as mentioned. It may cause blockages in the silo discharge opening due to piles.

They also pose a high risk of condensation and accumulation. These negative effects are especially true for fine-grained powders, moist, pasty, scaly or fibrous materials.

ECONOMY AND RELIABILITY

The list of challenging materials in which the system has been used successfully is long and extensive. The mechanical design of this system is based on many years of experience, advances in advanced material handling. It minimizes the wear. It extends the working life of the silo.

Various standard sizes of panel activators have been designed for the systems. It is possible to implement the system for almost all sizes, shapes, dusts, warehouses and tanks.

BLENDING AND MIXING

Ventilation in threshing silos can cause deposits, clogging, heterogeneous mixing and agglomeration. User Pulse helps the material to work in accordance with the "first in, first out" principle for the appropriate quality mixture.

It may be advantageous to use 3 - 4 small panel activators, especially in silos with difficult materials.

In general, the activation starts automatically when the silo unloading process starts. Otherwise there is a risk of bridging in the Discharged material.

In larger silos, arches may occur on the vertical wall and at the corners in the center of the exit hopper. This problem can be solved by means of activators placed on the upper edges of the cone, as shown in the picture.
